Stacey Valy Panayiotou joins company from Ball Corporation
August 28, 2025
By: Tara Olivo
Associate Editor at Nonwovens Industry
Kimberly-Clark announced the appointment of Stacey Valy Panayiotou to chief human resources officer, effective September 10. Panayiotou will succeed interim chief human resources officer Viviane Cury, who will resume her prior role as vice president, Talent Business Partner for North America. As chief human resources officer, Panayiotou will be responsible for the global human resources function, including talent recruiting, development and performance management, labor relations, compensation and employee benefits. She will report to Mike Hsu, chairman and chief executive officer of Kimberly-Clark, and serve on the company’s executive leadership team. “Stacey is a transformational leader with a track record of aligning people strategies with enterprise growth,” says Hsu. “Furthermore, her commitment to building people-first cultures that are both high-performing and caring aligns directly with our company’s values. We are pleased to welcome Stacey to the team as we continue to execute our Powering Care strategy.” Panayiotou brings more than two decades of global human resources leadership to Kimberly-Clark. She joins the company from Ball Corporation, most recently serving as chief human resources officer, where she was responsible for leading the end-to-end function globally. She also created the company’s first enterprise-wide learning university to strengthen and scale talent capabilities on a global basis. Prior to Ball Corporation, Panayiotou held several senior human resources leadership roles with global responsibility. She served as EVP and chief human resources officer at Graphic Packaging International. During her 13-year tenure at the Coca-Cola Company, Panayiotou served as global vice president and head of Talent and Development, and vice president, Human Resources for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Panayiotou holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and two master’s degrees from Loyola University Chicago (Institute of Human Resources & Industrial Relations). “I’m honored to join a company with such a rich legacy of delivering performance and care—care for consumers, customers, communities and, importantly, its people,” says Panayiotou. “I look forward to working with the team to build on that strong foundation and further enhance the capabilities of Kimberly-Clark’s talented workforce around the world.”
